Sending invitations to each guest through Zalo: how to do it thoughtfully
Prepare your list, write the message that goes with the link, choose when to send and how to invite grandparents and elders, so each person receives an invitation addressed to them by name.

Why send each person their own link
A shared invitation posted in a group chat is easily lost among dozens of other messages. When each person receives a link that opens with their own name, the invitation means what it should: you are inviting each person personally, not making a general announcement.
Personal links also show you who has replied. Each time a guest taps “Attending”, your RSVP list gains a row, with no need to count messages.
Prepare your guest list
- Write names the way you usually address people: “Aunt Lan”, “Minh”, “Uncle Tư’s family”. This name will appear on the invitation.
- Group them: relatives, friends, colleagues. Each group can get a different message.
- Note how many people are coming if you already know, so guests only need to confirm.
Write the message that goes with the link
Don’t just paste the link. A short greeting in your own voice makes guests more likely to tap it.
“Hello Aunt Lan, at the end of this month we are holding Na’s first-month celebration. Here is our invitation. Please tap it to see the time and directions.”
When to send
Send early enough for guests to plan around it, especially those who live far away. Close to the day, remind those who have not replied once more. Avoid sending too late at night, since many people keep Zalo notifications on sound.
For grandparents and elders
Make a phone call first, then send the link. For people who are not used to smartphones, print the invitation’s QR code on a paper invitation so a child or grandchild can scan it for them. Wishlyn invitations open on older phones, with no app to install.

Frequently asked questions
What if a guest does not use Zalo?
The invitation link opens in any browser. You can send it through Messenger, text message or email, or print the QR code on a paper invitation.
What if I send someone else’s link by mistake?
Open your guest list at app.wishlyn.com, create a new link for that person and send it. The old link stops working immediately; anyone who opens it will see a page saying the link has changed, with a note to contact the family.
Do I need to resend after editing the invitation?
No. The link stays the same, and guests who open it again will see the latest version.
